What I do
01.
Family
I love a family photoshoot. No matter how chaotic, how messy or how crazy it all becomes don't ever worry - this is life and I will capture it in all of its glory... These shoots are usually held in the outdoors
02.
Weddings & elopements
Its your big day! Celebrating your love and relationship is at the heart of my approach, in a fully inclusive space that celebrates diversity of people as well as approach. One size doesnt fit all for weddings so I cover everything from the ceremony only, to big all day affairs, to elopements and handfastings. Its your love story, I'll just be there to make sure we capture it in all of its glory
03.
Baby
Whether its those first days and weeks, or once they've really developed those delicious rolls and are taking note of the world around, at home baby sessions are designed to be completely relaxed and to go with the flow of baby and you, capturing this incredibly special time
04.
Maternity
Available at home or outdoors, with or without your partner, this is the moment you get to pause and celebrate, anticipate and treasure this time where you are growing a beautiful babe (or babes!). Let me help you step into your power and document this moment in a way that you will treasure in the years to come
05.
Seasonal Minishoots
Every now and again I offer seasonal minishoots - think Christmas trees, Bluebells, Sunflowers, Pumpkins or Confetti fields. These are publicised on my instagram page as well as being updated on the website... so keep your eyes open for them!
FAQ
How many images will be in our gallery?
It depends on the type of photoshoot or event and how long we are together.
For an average 60 minute shoot your gallery will have 50+ images to choose from
How should we dress for our family session?
This is a GREAT question. The difference between your images being timeless or not can very much depend on your wardrobe. It sounds arguably fickle, but no matter how much your little one loves that paw patrol tshirt, its never going to compete for me with neural, earthy tones or simply less patterned, tonally complimentary clothes. I'm really happy to give advice and provide a bit of wardrobe inspiration for you!
I want to have a photoshoot with my baby, how old should they be?
In my opinion, the best time for a photoshoot with your newest babe is whenever that works for you and your family. Whilst some photographers will insist on the first 10-14 days as the magic window of newborn photography (and dont get me wrong, they are super cute and sleepy and delicious at this stage!) that might not work for you for a number of reasons (you are wanting to stay in your baby bubble, perhaps you had a rough birth and need more recovery time, you just cant even remember your name let alone book a photographer...!). Honestly - no time is a bad time. Even when babe is a little older and has a few weeks under their belt we will be able to capture all of those little details, we will be able to get some sleepy shots, and these images will be no less special than those shoots where we snap them in those first few days. I'm happy to come and snap whenever works for you - its a privilege that you're letting me into that bubble whether they are 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months old!
How do I get my toddler/child/baby to behave at our shoot?
As a Mum of three I suppose you could say I'm trained to expect the unexpected! Believe me when I say I will work with whatever comes my way. The last think I want you to feel is the stress of trying to get your little one to do or be something that they just aren't feeling. Photoshoots will never be overly posed, we dont need to say 'cheese', and I will never expect that children turn up to 'perform'. In saying all that, if I've one piece of advice for you its just to relax, take the rough with the smooth and have fun yourself... the little ones usually follow!
